We are now open at our new location. Our new and expanded store hours are Monday through Friday from 8am to 6pm. We are closed on the weekend. We buy back books everyday. We want to thank the Marquette Community for your continued support, and we look forward to serving you from our brand new location for many years to come.

Sweeney's College Books Moving to 1400 West Wells Street.

Milwaukee, Wisconsin - July 24, 2008 - Sweeney's College Books, a privately owned bookstore serving Marquette University and currently located at 1634 West Wisconsin Avenue, will be relocating to 1400 West Wells Street this fall. The grand opening for the new location is scheduled for October 2008.

"Our new location on Wells Street will be more centrally located in the heart of campus, closer to on and off-campus student housing," said Theresa Sweeney, co-owner of the store. "Being closer to the students and faculty is not only more convenient for them, but also allows us to continue to better serve our customers."

Sweeney's College Books will continue to sell and purchase books from its current location at 1634 West Wisconsin Avenue through September 30, 2008. The grand opening of the 1400 West Wells Street location is scheduled for October 2008.

"We are excited about our new store location and are working to improve the aesthetics of the building and the surrounding area which will provide a welcoming environment for our customers," added Ed Sweeney, co-owner. "We always want students and faculty to feel at home when they visit Sweeney's and we are sure that feeling will continue at our new location."
